The first flight to Seoul South Korea was painfully long, 13 hours, by far the longest flight I have ever been on. The plane was pretty awesome though. The plane was a Boeing 777, every seat had it's own personal tv, a pillow, blanket, toothbrush, headphones, and even slippers. Even though we stayed up most of last night I couldn't really sleep on the plane, instead I spent my time watching 4 movies some tv shows and playing games. I had two pretty good meals on the flight along with two Korean beers which were free like any normal beverage so that was awesome.
Needless to say once we landed I was exhausted. The layover ended up being 2 hours and the airport had free wifi so I got to skype with Rachel which was awesome! 😁. The flight to Hanoi was on a Boeing 747 (double decker), it was a much older plane than the 777 but it was still pretty sweet to fly on.
Once we landed we were able to get our visa on arrival and go through customs really quickly. Once we got out of the airport we took a taxi to our hotel. The taxi driver didn't speak a word of English so to communicate with us he just said "Vietnam!" In different tones and pointed at stuff. When we finally got to the place where the hotel was supposed to be we got out and he pointed us down a dark alley and said the name of the street like 5 times. Thankfully the hotel was there! It's a pretty nice place and the beds are comfy. I'm pretty sure I haven't really slept for two days now so it'll be nice to get some rest! Goodnight!
